I struggled to find age-appropriate books in the UK that were relevant to what other children were reading here or even in Portugal. Everything seemed focused on dictionary-style books with little to no story, or books that simply weren’t engaging enough. In an era where digital influence is everywhere and more young children are spending time on screens, and with growing reports on how damaging this can be for children, I want to make a difference!
